CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Architects & Designers
Deadline: October 15, 2015

NEST will showcase visionary birdhouses by architects and designers in support of the National Audubon Society - the US partner of Birdlife International. NEST brings contemporary architecture and design to the art collector. You are invited to submit your design to be considered for a gallery exhibtion and the online auction hosted. These events are hosted by Richard Levy Gallery.

ALL BIDDING OCCURS ONLINE: The online auction includes birdhouses being shown in the gallery. Designers can opt to participate in the online auction only and ship directly to the winning bidder.


Send up to 6 images and design description along with starting bid amount to by October 15, 2014.
Please indicate NEST AUCTION SUBMISSION if you wish to only participate in the online auction.
Please indicate NEST EVENT SUBMISSION in the subject line to be considered for both events.

Final images and design information for the online auction are due by January 15, 2015.

Birdhouses accepted for the gallery exhibit are due in the gallery by February20, 2015.

Establish a starting bid. Participants are responsible for delivery to the gallery when accepted into the exhibit. Please consider this and your production costs when determining the amount. Designers can receive up to 50% of sold price.

When submitting for the online auction only, designer agrees to ship their birdhouse to the winning bidder within 10 business days of the end of the auction (March 2015) if accepted.

ELIGIBILITY: This call is open to architects and designers.

Richard Levy Gallery specializes in contemporary art of all mediums by artists from a global spread. The gallery is focusing on architecture in 2015 starting the year with an exhibition of Antoine Predock’s drawings and objects from New Mexico projects. NEST continues this theme with a gallery exhibit and a a corresponding online auction which reaches an international audience of architecture and fine art media (print & web) in addition to art collectors and architecture enthusiasts.
